Jotunn
Jotunn (Jötunn, több. Jotnar), a skandináv mitologiában az óriások neve. Hazájuk Jotunheim, a sötét mennyei birodalom. E birodalomhoz tartozik az Yggdrasell kőrisfa gyökerei alatt elterülő alvilág, a halottak országa, Hel is (l. o.).
