Publications

In our view a paper publication of a technical or legal document can not be considered as an isolated work from the regular publications of the business enterprise, institution or organization that wants to emit a new document.

Instead, the publications are strongly linked to:

• their former version, regarding appearance, content and maybe, links
• their translation or source of translation, made within the same organization or at an international organization,
• referred documents and those which refer to the actual document,
• other typical publications of the same enterprise or organization,
• general design considerations which are either general or harmonized with other media, such as the Internet, logos, trademarks, colour marks etc.

Creating master pages is then composed of data enhancement tasks, database tasks and design tasks.

In our work of paper publication creation we successfully harmonized these needs. We have created authentic and national versions of intellectual property classifications, CD-ROM editions of paper publications and enhanced the source for the paper publication to enable CD-ROM publication, enhanced references from glossaries and catchwords.
