Éder (Xaver) Ferencz jezsuita pap, szül. Selmeczbányán, 1727. márcz. 19-én. 1749-ben hittérítőként Amerikába vándorolt és Peruban a moxo népnek hirdette Isten igéjét. 1769-ben tért haza és Beszterczebányán plébános lett, hol 1773. ápr. 17-én meghalt. Munkája: Dexsriptio provinciae Moxitarum in regno Peruano quam e scriptis posthumus… annis XV. sacri apud ejosdem curionis digessit, expolivit, et adnotationibus illustravit abb. et consil. reg. Panius Makó. Budae, 1791. (Térképpel és 7 tábla rajzzal.)
