Gallovich István, járásbirósági albiró, szül. 1858-ban, Ipolyságon. Elbeszélései, rajzai, lírai és leíró költeményei, humorisztikus apróságai 1880 óta neve alatt, előzőleg G. I., G–ch I–n. jegyekkel jelentek meg fővárosi, de leginkább vidéki lapokban.
