Mérey Mihály, (Kaposmérei) jogtudós, I. Ferdinánd király híve. 1544–1562-ig királyi személynök, 1563-ban alnádor lett. I. Ferdinánd király megbízásából 1551-ben Quadripartitum néven egy teljes Corpus Jurist állított össze. Meghalt 1572-ben.
