Gyurits Antal. Szül. 1819. máj. 23-án, Szombathelyen. A gyorsirásról elméleti és gyakorlati tekintetben cz. művet írta, később leginkább a görög és latin filológiával foglalkozott. Nevezetesebb művei: Virgil pásztori dalai. Virgil Aeneise. Róma és Loretti. Az ember és a teremtés.
