Duyckinck (ejtsd: dájkink) Evert Ágoston, amerikai iró és irodalomtörténész, szül. New-Yorkban 1816 nov. 23., meghalt u. o. 1878 aug. 13. 1840-42. kiadta Mathews C.-val együtt az Arctums, a Journal of Books and opinion, 1847-53. pedig György Long testvérével együtt a Literary World c. vállalatokat. Ugyancsak testvérével irta meg jelentékenyebb művét: Cyclopeadia of American literature (Philadelphia 1856. legujabb kiad. 1888); egyéb munkái: Irvingiana (1859); History of the war of the Union (1861-65); Memorials of John Allan (1864); Poems relating to the American revolution (1865); Poems of Philip Freneau (1865); National Galleery of eminent Americans (1864); History of the world (1870).
