BELIÁL. Az ÓSZ-ben nem tulajdonnév, hanem valami efféle jelentésű szó: »semmit érő«, »gonoszság«, »törvénytelenség« (5Móz 13,13; Bír 19,22; 1Sám 25,25). A 2Kor 6,15-ben a Sátánt jelenti.
