Balassa Ferenc (Pozsony, 1794. nov. 2. – Bécs, 1860. febr. 3.): festő. A váci siketnéma intézetben kezdett festeni, majd Bécsben, Münchenben, Rómában tanult. Corvin Mátyás halála c. kompozícióját 1843-ban állította ki. Történelmi témák mellett tájképeket is festett. Önarcképét az MNG őrzi.
