Zipser Keresztély András
Zipser Keresztély András (Győr, 1783. nov. 25. – Besztercebánya, 1864. febr. 20.): tanár, természettudós. Besztercebányán, Selmecbányán, Pozsonyban végezte tanulmáuyait. 1803-tól 1807-ig Brünnben tanított, hazatérve Besztercebányán leánynevelő intézetet alapított, amelyet élete végéig igazgatott. Ásványtannal is foglalkozott, megjelent ásványtani kézikönyve is. Felderítette Mo. őskori földtani viszonyait. Több német egyetem díszdoktorrá választotta. – F. m.
