mony – ‘tojás’: tikmony (‘tyúktojás’); ‘here’.
Ősi örökség az uráli korból: vogul man (‘tojás’), osztják mon (‘here’), mordvin mona (‘here’), finn muna (‘tojás, here’), szamojéd mona, manu (‘tojás’). A szó eredeti jelentése ‘tojás’ lehetett, de biztosnak látszik, hogy már az uráli alapnyelvben kialakult, hasonlóság alapján, a ‘here’ jelentés is. Elavult, illetve nyelvjárási szó. Lásd még mogyoró.
