Salbeck Károly (petrisi)
theologiai doktor, szepesi püspök, előbbinek testvéröcscse, a római Collegium Hungaricum növendéke; erdélyi egyházmegyei pap volt, 1751–76-ig kalocsai kanonok, ercsi apát, nemesiai fölszentelt püspök és váci nagy-prépost; 1776–87-ig első szepesi püspök, val. b. titkos tanácsos és a szent István-rend vitéze. Meghalt 1787. jún. 15.
