Amanus
Amanus, ’Αμανος, a ciliciai (Strabo 11, 535) Taurus (m. Alma-dag) egyik magas és meredek ága, melyet az ókorban rabló népek laktak, akik Ccierót, Cilicia helytartóját arra bírták, hogy ellenük hadat indítson, miáltal az imperator nevet nyerte.
