Caudium
Caudium, a caudinusok városa Samniumban a mai Montesarchio közelében, a via Appia mellett, a mons Taburnustól délre, nem messze a furculae Caudinae (Forchia Caudina) nevű híres szorostól, a hol a rómaiakat a samniták részéről Kr. e. 321-ben az ismeretes megszégyenítés érte.
