Parthenopaeus
Parthenopaeus, Παρϑενοπαιος, egyike a Thebae ellen vonuló hősöknek, a ki azonban Thebae falai alatt el is esett Asphodicusnak, mások szerint Amphidicusnak vagy Periclymenusnak kezétől. Szülei Ares vagy Milanion, mások szerint Meleager és Atalante, a régibb hősmondában Talaus és Lysimache; tehát Adrastus testvére. Felesége Clymene volt, fia Promachus (Stratolaus), a ki az epigonusokkal atyjának boszulójául Thebae ellen vonult. Apollod. 2, 6. 3, 8. 7, 2. Paus. 9, 18, 6. L. M.
