Ticinus, Τικινος, Τικινος, m. Ticino, a Padus egyik jelentékeny balparti mellékfolyója, mely a Mons Adulán (Sankt Gotthard) fakadt, a Lacus Verbanuson (Lago Maggiore) keresztül folyt és Ticinum mellett a főfolyóba szakadt. A T. partján győzedelmeskedett Hannibal P. Cornelius Scipión 218-ban Kr. e. Liv. 5, 34. 21, 39. 45, 47. Strab. 5, 209. 217. SZ. IS.
