Mint előneve mutatja, trencsinmegyei család. Közűlök Jaros Vincze, sz. Egyedről nevezett simighi apátur, esztergami kanonok és komáromi főesperes volt. Meghalt 1859-ben. Egyik unokaöcscse Jaross Móricz birtokos komárommegyei Csehi helységben. Neje Lipovniczky Nepomuczena.
