(1) A fényáram mértékegysége a lumen; jele: lm.
(2) A lumen az a fényáram, amelyet 1 kandela fényerősséggel minden irányban sugárzó pontszerű fényforrás 1 szteradián térszögbe sugároz. 1 lm = 1 cd×sr.
