72. MEZŐSZENTMARGITA
Beke szerint 1335-ben Péter papja adót fizet a pápai tizedjegyzék alapján, de bizonytalan, hogy azonos-e Szentmargita papjával.
1408-ban Zentmargita, 1461-ben Zenthmarghita, 1473-ban Zenthmargyta néven jelentkezik a forrásokban. (C. Suciu: Dicţionar istoric.)
Nevét Szent Margit tiszteletére szentelt templomától kapta.
Későbbi adat nincs róla. Az erdélyi Schematismus is az egykori plébániák közt említi. (Schematismus. 1913.)
